O Level

The Cambridge O Level Art & Design syllabus aims to encourage a personal response by stimulating imagination, sensitivity, conceptual thinking, powers of observation and analytical ability. Learners gain confidence and enthusiasm as they develop technical skills in two and three dimensional form and composition, and are able to identify and solve problems in visual and tactile forms. They also learn how to develop ideas from initial attempts to final solutions. An ideal foundation for further study, Cambridge O Level Art & Design also develops a greater awareness of the role played by the visual arts in society and in history, broadening cultural horizons and individual experience.

Cambridge O Level Art & Design (6090) is available to candidates in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Mauritius (private candidates) only. Schools in other countries are advised to enter students for Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design (0400), a popular course with schools worldwide, providing students with an ideal foundation for further study.

O Level

By considering agriculture as an applied science, learners gain an understanding of basic agricultural principles and skills through extensive practical experience. The syllabus develops learners' ability to apply a scientific approach to the study of topics such as crop and livestock husbandry, farm structure and machinery, and agricultural economics. 

As a result, learners gain a positive attitude towards farming and rural development, and appreciate the ways in which improved agricultural practice can be used to alleviate the problems of famine and malnutrition.

O Level

The Cambridge O Level Accounting syllabus introduces learners to the theory and concepts of accounting and the ways in which accounting is used in a variety of modern economic and business contexts. Learners focus on the skills of recording, reporting, presenting and interpreting financial information and build an ideal foundation both for further study and for a future career within the profession.

This syllabus replaces Cambridge O Level Principles of Accounts 7110 from 2020 onwards. The last series for O Level Principles of Accounts 7110 will be November 2019.
